Fire Horse Insignia
2026 is the year of the Male Fire Horse, celebrated for all its dynamic glory of courage, change and forward momentum.
This artwork was especially created in design and painting technique of the Tibetan Karma Gadri Thangka painting tradition.
Depicting a leaping horse in flaming flight through a celestial realm of bejewelled rainbow clouds, with sun and the moon gilded in palladium and Indian lemon gold leaf. The rippling multicoloured diagonal stripes below represent deep water.
The inspiration for the composition is based on Chinese imperial badges, which are traditionally a square patch of heavily embroider silk textiles on formal court robes, originally worn as an insignia of rank and title.
Issued with this artwork is a Certificate of Authentication with description. This may also serve as a receipt of value and document of provenance.
