The Four Fold Refuge

Lama, Buddha, Dharma and Sangha

These four objects of refuge are highlighted throughout the main body of the High Uchen calligraphy in rust red colour.

The first dark maroon character ‘namo’ in the Lantsa Sanskrit script translate as ‘homage’ .

At the end of the prayer is a shad full stop character in the same Lantsa Sanskrit script.
