No Fire Like Desire
Four verses from The Dharmmapada – the words of the Buddha as spoken in the Jetavavana Grove:
There is no fire like desire,
no monster like hatred.
There is no net like delusion,
no raging river like craving.
འདོད་ཆགས་འདྲ་བའི་མེ་མེད་དེ། །
ཁྲོ་བ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཆུ་སྲིན་མེད། །
རྨོངས་པ་འདྲ་བའི་དྲྭ་བ་མེད། །
སྲེད་པ་འདྲ་བའི་ཆུ་ཀླུང་མེད། །།
