Lapiz Benza Guru

A contemporary mantra mandala of Padmasambhava: oṃ āḥ hūṃ vajra guru padma siddhi hūṃ༔ surrounds his seed syllable hūṃ༔ at the centre.
All gold leaf illuminated in the ancient Lantsa Sanskrit lettering, the smaller corresponding Tibetan letters of the mantra are arranged around the outside are painted in a Nepalese pure gold.

Especially created for a solo exhibition at Amankora in Thimbu and Paro, Bhutan 2017 – 2019
