Bodhicitta-selfless-drive

One of three commissioned pieces which hang at the HeadSpace headquarters in California.

Intended as visual reminders to the staff of their work ethics and meditation values:

• Courageous Heart – to have inner strength.
• Curious Mind – to remain in a state of ‘beginners mind’ freshness – *shoshin
• Bodhicitta – selfless driven motivation.

This piece is composed of the word *Bodhicitta, confidently brushed in the cursive Tibetan Drutsa script, on which is delicately decorated with a Bodhi-leaf pattern.

*Bodhi means  ‘enlightened essence’ and citta means ‘heart’ or ‘mind’, hence the translation which refers to our potential: ‘the heart of enlightened mind’
