To behold an actual art-piece in person is an entirely different experience than fleetingly glance at a digital copy – Appreciating the true size of the piece, the texture of the surface and how the light and hue behaves in its natural environment.
This presents quality-time to take stock, inspired to envision how an art-piece can enhance one’s own home – more especially if presented framed to grace the walls within the artists home and studio.
The studio of Tashi Mannox is found just two miles out of Hay-on-Wye. The town’s namesake is the majestic river Wye which broadly flows below in the Wye valley, whereas at the top of the town towers its very own castle, originally constructed as part of the 11th century Norman invasion of Wales.
This small town full of character and well worth a visit – situated on the Welsh English border of the Brecon Beacon National Park. Famous for its unusually large number of secondhand book shops, inspiring the twice yearly international Hay Literature Festival.
