Golden Five Buddha Family hum
As the title of this artwork states: In the hūṃ̣ resides the mode of being endowed with the five pristine wisdoms.
A large illuminate piece of the sacred character hūṃ̣, with each different part of the syllable meticulously painted in a five coloured floral pattern – representing the Five Buddha Families and their Five Wisdoms. Thus symbolising the blessing of all five Buddhas gathered together in one syllable.
The creation of this piece spanned 18-years, while much of the time laying dormant – deliberating to which direction the artwork would be taken.
Its final stage was to gild the majority of the background in 23 carat gold leaf, then completed with five of the artists seals.

This artwork will soon be on show at a retrospective exhibition at Panders Paper Boutique in the centre of Crickhowell, Brecon and Radnorshire, Wales.
The piece is available as readily framed with 70% UV protective, non-reflective museum standard glass, allowing the gold the shine without the glass shining.
