This Artwork was especially created in celebration of the Female Water Rabbit 2023
– Hares playfully chasing in endless optimism, multiplying different creed and colour, yet with same united purpose, signified by their shared ears of interdependence. They hop and splash the waters edge, free and joyous on a ground of green grass activity.
We exist interconnected, through cycles of change, as a year rolls into another. For the Eastern astrology system, each year of a 60 year cycle is attributed to one of 12 particular animals, paired with five different elemental qualities, yin or yang.
Such is this miraculous dance of this great opportunity we have, called precious human existence.
