The Healing Mantra
The main feature of this piece is a large freely brushed word sowa: གསོ་བ། in the classical Uchen script – A wonderfully strong word in Tibetan, meaning to heal, nourish or mend.
Arranged between the legs of །sowa། is a praise and homage to the bendura: Medicine Buddha, scribed in Tsugtung script.
The piece is finished with His mantra tayatha om behka dze-yah behka dze-yah maha beh ka dze-yah radza sahmuk gaté svāhā
