The Four Noble Truths
འཕགས་པའི་བདེན་པ་བཞི་ Known as the Four Realities, this central theme of four truths where taught by Buddhas during the so-called first turning of the wheel of Dharma.
These are listed here and scribed in a honorific form of Uchen script:
- The truth བདེན་པ་ of suffering སྡུག་བསྔལ་ which is to be understood,
- the truth of the origin of suffering ཀུན་འབྱུང་ which is to be abandoned,
- The truth of cessation འགོག་པ་ which is to be actualized, and
- The truth of the path ལམ་ which is to be relied upon.
