Pure Perception Prayer and Mani Mantra
Integrating everything on to the spiritual path:
Each and every being in this universe is Avalokiteśvara, the embodiment of compassion,
Every sound heard hums the melody of the six sacred syllables*,
This very place is truly the Pure Land of Great Bliss,
Devoid of any actual reality, like a magic show, like a dream.
It is as though we had already been reborn there.
As we cultivate “pure perception” with great joy, all veils are cleared.
One should practice “pure perception” in the way explained above.
Scribed in contemporary form of the cursive drutsa umé class of Tibetan.
*oṃ ma ṇi pad me hūṃ – hrīḥ
This maṇi mantra with heading character and ending with the seed syllable hrīḥ, is composed in the khyungdri* style Uchen, an early rendition prior to proportionate standardisation as is widely established today.
*khyungdri – from one of the primary founding style of Uchen from the scholar and master calligrapher Khyungpo Yudri.
This artwork among others, will soon be on show at a retrospective exhibition at Panders Paper Boutique in the centre of Crickhowell, Brecon and Radnorshire, Wales.
