No Fire Like Desire
Four verses from The Dharmapada – the words of the Buddha and spoken in the Jetavavana Grove – translate as:
‘There is no fire like desire,
no monster like hatred.
There is no net like delusion,
no raging river like craving.‘
།འདོད་ཆགས་འདྲ་བའི་མེ་མེད་དེ།
།ཁྲོ་བ་ལྟ་བུའི་ཆུ་སྲིན་མེད།
།རྨོངས་པ་འདྲ་བའི་དྲྭ་བ་མེད།
།སྲེད་པ་འདྲ་བའི་ཆུ་ཀླུང་མེད།།
