Four Concerns to Drop
This drutsa style calligraphy is inspired from a famous verse by Sakya Kunga Nyingpo:
“If you are concerned with improving your life, you are a materialist.
If you are concerned with how you are feeling, you don’t want to be free.
If you are concerned with your own welfare, you are asleep.
If you are concerned with holding a position, you don’t see.”
This piece was especially created for – and as featured in – ‘Sacred Scripts’ – A Meditative Journey Through Tibetan Calligraphy – Mandala Earth Editions
This artwork among others, will soon be on show at Tashi’s retrospective exhibition at Panda’s Paper Boutique in the centre of Crickhowell, Brecon and Radnorshire, Wales.
Issued with this artwork is a Certificate of Authentication with description, which serves as provenance, as well as a recipe of value for insurance purposes.
