‘A Brush with Silence’ calligraphy performance will take place this Saturday 7th May 2022 via livestream and in the chapel of the Godelieve convent in Bruges.

15 calligraphers will write words of peace in 15 scripts in Bruges. while 11 more, including Tashi Mannox, will join to perform from around the world by Zoom.

This special benefit event will help young Ukrainian refugees in Bruges to create a computer room where they can keep in touch with family, friends and classrooms in Ukraine.

‘A Brush with Silence’ is an international phenomena endorsing the art of calligraphy by calligraphy extraordinaire Brody Neuenschwander. Previous ‘Brush with Silence’ events have have gathered together celebrated calligraphers from around the world, held in many locations such as Antwerp, Cambridge, Moscow and now in Bruges.
