From 26th Sept to 26th Oct 2025 Tashi Mannox exhibits with the 15th 세계서예전북비엔날레 World Seoyea Jeonbuk Calligraphy Biennale, South Korea.
It is with great privilege, that for the second time running Tashi has been invited as special guest. You may catch him attending the opening ceremonies on 26th – 29th Sept at Sori Arts Center of Jeollabuk-do, Jeonju.
This year’s event “Resonance of Silence” consists of over 3,200 artists from 50 countries. Their contributing calligraphy masterpieces are based on the theme Nature • Humanity & Ink-stone Tint of Hangeul, expressing the dynamic in the still.
The piece especially created for this 15th world Jeonbuk Calligraphy Biennale exhibition, is titled Beings of Nature – A classical wishing prayer created in a 14th century Tibetan cursive script style:
“may all beings have happiness and the cause of happiness. May all beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering. May all beings never be separated from the supreme joy this is beyond suffering. May they abide in equanimity free from attachment and aversion”
Scribed on a background wash of clouds – ink-stone tint of Hangeul.
