Lapis Mani Mantra
Historically, sacred mantras were held in the highest regard. Honoured in pure gold lettering on tablets of precious lapis-lazuli. The Mani mantra is named so with it’s pronunciation oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ
As the embodiment of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvara, endowed with infinite understanding to engender impartial loving-kindness. Those who speak, hear or see the Mani mantra are said to benefit it’s blessing qualities.
This mantra is often found placed high within a household, considered to bless, purify and protect residents and their environment.
Created according to the divine proportionate construction of the classical Tibetan Uchen script, upon a ground of lapis like blue.
