Medicine Buddha Mantra garland Uchen
tayatha om behka dze-yah behka dze-yah maha beh ka dze-yah radza sahmuk gaté svāhā
As pronounced above, the Medicine Buddha mantra is arranged around the blue seed syllable hūṃ upon an open lotus. This circular mantra garland is composed in the classical Tibetan Uchen script, whilst the smaller text below in a different Tibetan Umé script, is a short dedication prayer to Medicine Buddha which translates as:
‘To you, Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, perfectly and fully awakened Menla, King of Lapis light, I offer you prostrations’.
This is followed by an extract from the same Medicine Buddha practice:
‘The hūṃ in the heart of oneself and the front visualisation is surrounded by the mantra garland‘.
