Medicine Buddha mantra garland Lantsa Sanskrit
This mantra of Medicine Buddha is arranged around his blue seed syllable hūṃ, all composed in ancient Lantsa Sanskrit.
Pronounced: om behka dze-yah behka dze-yah maha beh ka dze-yah radza sahmuk gaté svāhā.
The smaller calligraphy at the base of the artwork is an extract from the Medicine Buddha *Sādhanā practice. This is scribed in a different Tibetan Umé script and translates as:
The hūṃ in the heart of the self and the front visualisation is surrounded by a mantra garland.
*Sādhanā – formal spiritual practice.
